Yes, they look to be fine! - I did put a couple eyelets as washers either side of the spring. You don't need to, but I had loads left over and they fitted just nice. I'd forgotten I'd done that.... oops my apologies! :-)The wingnuts just have ordinary 3mm washers beneath them. The whole feeder sits proud off the back of the printer by a 3mm nuts width + a washer either side of it. On all four corners.

I used 3mm studs to mount the stepper. I should probably take some more pictures of the assembly...

You can see how the eyelet fits (one 4mm eyelet - not two) if you look at where the filament goes into the feeder. It should be a tight press fit into the feeder body. If not, you can glue it in place.

Hi, The 4mm eyelet guides the filament into the bottom of the feeder so it doesn't rub against the material the feeder is printed from. I wouldn't use washers as they'll have a much sharper edge to them than the smooth eyelet does (which has a nice curve to it) Everything I used I put in the Bill of materials. :-) What bits are you missing?

Carousel thumb holder on my mount
Printed on:
Ultimaker - The Ultimaker 2
Result:
Superb holder. Does the job.
Feedback:
I made a mount for the holder to keep it off to one side and away from the feeder with associated cable and bowden. Works very well.
