Description
Pretty self explanatory. I have a big box of old RC parts, so I just scavenged for a bolt + nut that fit.
Materials and methods
A couple 3-ish mm screws for the fan
A small hex head bolt + nut

It's worked really well. Before I upgraded to the Metal Plus, it was the last shroud I made for the ol' girl.
I've been looking at lots of fan mounts for my Printrbot Jr. This one looks like the most promising out of the dozen or so I found. I was about to give up and make my own when I found it. How's it working out for you?
Oh, I should add that I used a left over little nut and screw for the fan holder, and four small screws for the duct to mount to the bottom of the fan.
I designed the fan mount to press fit onto the front of the extruder carriage. It should grip the plywood (it's got little teeth) pretty tightly. I put a drop of Elmer's glue on each jaw before I snugged it up, and they stuck with no issues for a month or two, before I upgraded to a different duct. I'll try to see if I have it and I'll try assembling it again and taking pictures.
How does this mount? Do you have any pictures with it on? I also have a Jr v1 and have been looking for a new fan duct since I added the Aluminum Extruder.
