Description

this adapter plate can be used to mount a UM2+ feeder on a UM2, using the original UM2 motor, resulting in double resolution on the extruder axis. Note that you should double the e-steps per unit length in the firmware.

Result:: Excellent design and it works really well. Thank you very much for sharing this design - appreciate it!!
Feedback:: I updated the firmware to the Ultimaker 2+ on my Ultimaker 2 machine (otherwise the feeder was working in the opposite direction) and I do need to increase the material flow to 200% for each print to compensate for the different feeder motor. The prints are excellent with this new feeder.
