Description
I'm working on an enclosure, and I designed an air filter system based on Honeywell's H cartridge and B+ carbon mesh, plus extra space on the intake for generic thin foam dust filter.
The carbon mesh could be any brand cut down to the housing inside size.
I designed it to be attached to a side or top panel on a 3D printer enclosure.
Materials and methods
Honeywell H is the only particulate cartridge that's specific to the core housing. The foam and carbon mesh can be bought from other brands.
Designed to be built without extra supports, save for some bridging for the screw holes on the mount tabs for best build ability. Some parts might import "upside down". Flip the part so the broad flat surface is touching the build plate.
Made for 5mm hardware, you'll need 12 M5 nuts, plus several screws.
The fan screws will need to be 4pcs, M4 x 30mm if using a 25mm thick fan. The fan is designed to be a 120mm axial fan type.
If you're building for ABS, be sure to add 0.5% or so to compensate for ABS shrinkage. Parts this size will start needing shrink compensation to fit.
