I recently bought a G76 AK style airsoft gun from Dick's Sporting Goods. I went and started shooting it in my backyard and found it to be very loud. So I designed this working aluminum barreled suppressor for it. You can buy aluminum pipe off of amazon for like 20 usd. I drilled 10 1/8 inch holes into the aluminum pipe and slid it into the print. The width of the pipe needed is 13.7 millimeters, and the length is 105 millimeters. It is important to note that this is 100% legal where I live. Print and use at your own risk. Forcing the suppressor on your gun could damage it. Make sure you put a large orange tip on it or whatever is required where you live. If you were to put this on a real firearm for some strange reason it would explode as it is only strong enough for a airsoft gun.
Materials and methods
I used PLA at 50% infill with supports on normal speed. I printed this on my Da Vinci Jr. 1.0.
The print took about seven hours to complete.
