Description
This is based on Ultimaker 2 Front Door with hidden magnetic catch by Keith Violette:
https://www.youmagine.com/designs/ultimaker-2-front-door-with-hidden-magnetic-catch
It is an alternative handle that avoids drilling holes for the magnets into the door
After printing the hinges I found the very elegant design to be lacking one feature:
I found it easier to have the magnets to disappear in the handle rather than in the
door. I therefore recreated the handle in a way it can accomodate 2 of the magnets.
To fix the handle to the door I used 2 countersunk screws 4x16 (4 mm holes in the door),
which I sunk using a 10 mm drill.
Printing hints: print upright (door facing side down) and use support (I love Cura's
tree support) for the magnet holes, not need for the rest.
These are the magnets I've used: https://www.ebay.de/itm/123905635852?var=424667890784
