Description
The smaller part is to a 0.2mm tolerance or no tolerance. I've not yet printed it, but hope it works! If you have any questions please feel free to ask me!
Print notes:
Walls: To create a strong part, it is advised to increase wall thickness.
Supports: Only needs support for embedded nuts, but may be fine without.
Orientation: print hotend clamp standing up and X-carriage with hotend clamp notch facing upward to minimize support.
Infill: 40% or more for a strong part.
Time: MyMiniFactory took 3 hours 50 mins to print all parts.
Materials and methods
Materials: It will require 2 M3 screws about 45mm long, and 2 M3 nuts to clamp the hotend in place. The smaller part is to a 0.2mm tolerance or no tolerance.
Method of assembly: Remove supports and raft (if used). Insert bearings from original X carriage into the new one. Insert nuts into embedded holes, and screw bolts through the clamp to attach E3D v6 tightly into place. Attach the end stop to the X carriage (recommended by hot glue - if you want holes in design either drill them or ask me and I will change the design). Pass linear rails through bearings. Attach belt to slots at both ends tightly, and you're ready to print!
