Result:: Printed at half-scale in PLA. I tried almost a dozen times to get the hinge pin the right size, before discovering that 1.75mm filament fit perfectly and was much stronger. Just heat one end of a short piece in locking tweezers and mash it down to form a "rivet head", then put it through the hole and repeat the process, protecting the print by holding the tip of the tweezers between it and the flame. I've made half a dozen clips this way and it holds great.
