Description
For this year's Dragon Con, I decided to print a badge holder with a semi-flexible snap fitting to hold the badge by its punched slot. Included are files for both the holder and a 1:1 scale model of the badge itself, should anyone need it for other projects.
Recommended Settings
PLA at approximately 0.1 mm layer thickness; for printers with a 6" square build volume, omit skirts and brims. Original was produced on a Printrbot Simple Metal.
The measurements of a four-day Dragon Con badge are 3.5" x 5.5" with an approximately 0.17" radius curve on all corners.
