Description
Here I'm showcasing my older electronics enclosure design from 2019, that I designed (in FreeCAD) around a PCB and a heat sink of a battery discharging circuit (that I had designed in KiCad).
The circuit has been designed such, that it allows setting of a discharge current (up to 2.5A), end voltage, discharging time limit, it can measure discharge capacity, time, ESR, power, it regulates it's cooling fan based on ambient temperature and it can be controlled via 5V RS232 port. It can also be used as a constant current source or sink and for a basic battery charging.
