Description
At this point, the pedal is still a prototype. It snaps together well and holds quite a bit of force but has no way of being connected to a bike or hold human weight.
Materials and methods
Print two of the Pedal_Half_Final.stl files. Be sure to generate support throughout the pedal and orient it so that the clip holes are facing upwards. This will allow for the smoothest print of the holes.
Print six of the Clip_Final.stl files. These will be inserted into the holes to snap together both halves. Print them with the most surface area flat on the bed.
The Axle_Final.stl can be printed to show how it might work but will likely not hold human weight.
A variation of the Axle should be modeled with a connection to the bike that needs placement.
Approximately 40 meters of 1.75 mm PLA filament used for print.
