Description
This model is a representation of a pair of bowling lanes. Since bowling lanes are long and are not usually able to be walked on, this model provides access to understand the relative dimensions and object locations on a bowling lane. There is usually a ball return stand located between a pair of lanes and this model show two lanes, the ball location, the foul line mark, the gutters, and the pins. Floor markings are included for partially sighted who may be able to see them on the lane.
This model shows a view of the lanes with a zig-zag break line indicating the portion of the lanes where there are no marks or pins. To the right of the lanes, this model shows the pin locations with numbered labels. The pin diameter to placement spacing is to scale.
The model has labels indicating the approach, foul line, pins, and balls. There is a small cube in the upper right of the models to help with orientation for reading the model.
