Improvement to Matt Roberts camera slider. You can mount the sider on a tripod now and mount equipment to it. All holes for bolts and rods are tapered for easy assembly. All corners that a human hand can touch are rounded.

Description
Don't forget to mirror one side before printing.
Mount a 40x10mm L bracket to help stabilise the slider.
Use 3mm grub screws to secure the 8mm rods.
Use 4x M5 bolts to mount the L bracket to the sides.
Drill a center 1/4" hole into it and cut a UNC gear.
Also cut 1/4" gears into the center holes at top and bottom of both sides.
Now you can mount your slider on one (center) or two (sides) tripods.
You can also mount a lamp, microphone or display to the top of a side.
V2:
I added M5 holes at a 45° angle into the feet, so you can insert threaded rods or bolts to dynamically add longer feet when needed.
Materials and methods
LM8UU bearings
8mm VERY PRECISE rods
M5 bolts
optional L bracket for added stability with long rods
