Connecting Rod (Textured)

Result of a stress analysis performed on a connecting rod.

COMSOL

A connecting rod is a part of a piston engine which connects a piston to the crankshaft.

A stress analysis has been performed and baked into the model as a texture.

The textured model was then printed in gray scale values on an Ultimaker 3 using a (yet) unpublished feature of Cura.
