In this project, a halogen desk lamp was repurposed into a web cam stand. The lamp neck measured 6mm in diameter. This new mount has a 6mm clip which attaches the camera to the lamp.

The project includes the following printed parts:

- camera mount
- camera data cable clips

Print these parts:
- (1) camera clip mount
- (3) or more wire clips

The STL files included are suited to a 6mm diameter stick.

Remove the small screw from the logitech mount, and then push the long hinge pin out of the logitech mount with a paper clip. Push hard!

Trim the extra square flashing off of the long hinge pin so that it is rounded. Reinstall the long hinge pin into the new mount after lining it up with the C210 web cam base.

This camera is being used at an office to take identification photos. Works great.

What are you using the webcam for? Octoprint/Astroprint/3DPrinterOS? I have that webcam and am really tempted to try this!
