Description
Solo cup dispenser with goat and celtic knots on main structure. Clips that hold cups have celtic knots as well. The file holder_goat.stl only has the goat with no celtic knots.
Materials and methods
Celtic knot .stls were generated using OpenSCAD code from github. These were then applied to stl.s from Thingiverse "Red Solo Cup dispenser" using Blender. Celtic .stls were applied to the clip using the shrink wrap modifier. Goat stl. was scaled and position on the holder. A longer version of the knot_test=5 was generated to add to holder. Warp modifier was used first with bend selected. Once the long celtic knot .stl completely surrounded the holder the shrink wrap modifier was used. Then the Subsurface divide, Displace, and Smooth modifiers was used to finish connecting the knot .stl to the holder. Getting these modifiers to work nicely with each other took lots of trial and error.
