I really like the original design ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3534573 ), but the way the parts are connected is not the most successful.
After I printed the original rack, I realized that I had to fix everything that I did not like.
So I added the thickness of the base, side supports, which are also made flat on one side for better printing result (parts 2 and 3 or 2.1 and 3.1 which are higher). Contact area of joined parts is also increased to avoid wobble and increase the structural strength.
The platform on which the headband is located is shortened (there are two options - parts 4 and 4.1). Decorative cutouts are made and the thickness of the ends is reduced in order to visually lighten this part.
The rest of the parts I designed from scratch. The mounting plate that connects the base to the sides (part 5) is secured with eight screws. I understand that this is too much, but in my opinion it looks cooler :)
Also I made several options for the upper intermediate insert:
with cable hook (part 7)
with hook and storage slot for removable 6.3mm jack (part 7.1)
with no hook for use with wireless headphones (part 7.2)
As a bonus among the files there is an element for installing an NFC tag (part 8) or decorative insert (part 9) in it. It can be mounted almost anywhere in the rack. To assamble it, you will need an M4 screw and a bit of file work to remove metal from both sides of the screw head.
All other parts are connected with M3x16 screws and nuts.
Some parts are grouped as one to make it easier to navigate in files . . .
Thanks to the author for the great design and the opportunity to spend a couple of hours remixing it.
