Heavy duty tripod ball head for small and large format cameras. Needed something for a 6x7 camera and DSLRs.

I printed this in Carbon fiber PETG. Make sure that there are no supports placed in the threads as this will mess them up. Firmly push the ball into the holder before installing any screws.You may have to cut the 3/8 threads after printing again.

If you are paranoid as I am, you can place a 2 inch 3/8-16 rod into the neck for extra
rigidity. Otherwise you can use standard 1/4 and 3/8 photography adapters to ad a quick release. Optinional: to prevent stripping of the bottom thread use Lower part 58 and a 3/8" Female To 5/8" Male Thread adapter.

The shown quick release and plates are at thing 2450904 and 2439918.
