Description
Magic locket inspired by the scene in the film "the illusionist". I do not know how it was made in the film so i designed my own to get the same effect, more or less. Its size is 50mm x 20mm x 10mm and it has room to put a small picture divided in two (each 15mm x 15mm).
It can be transformed from an oval shape to a heart shape just by twisting one of the pieces and then you can open it to show the picture inside.
Materials and methods
3d printed in PLA with 10 small magnets (4 magnets size 5mmx1mm, 6 magnets size 3mmx1mm)
Print each part individually, glue the magnets (attending to the correct orientation to get magnetic attraction between the different pieces), put the lids on the corresponding part, then join the big pieces together inserting left one into the other.
