Description

This is a project from the Ultimaker Academy. It is a toolkit for continuing professional development for teachers.

With this toolkit we want to empower makers to turn their ideas and creativity into reality. This toolkit is still under development. With the publication of this open beta projects, we would like to encourage our community to give us feedback to improve the projects and the toolkit. We tested the first projects with a small group of schools

Now it is time to ask feedback from you!
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Ronald Scheer.
Ronald is responsible for Ultimaker Education.

The task for the elementary students is to design Math Tower that consists of 5 shapes. They have to create it in Tinkercad. In this toolkit there will be information about what to do when you are teaching this project.

The mathematical abilities are stimulated in a playful manner by the means of appealing contexts.

By doing this project, students will develop their communication skills, their problem solving ability and their ICT literacy.

This project is a sequel of the MoreToMath project from LEGO Education.

This toolkit is made in coöperation with Autodesk Sweden and LEGO Education
