This is a kill switch "paddle" for the DW-745. I have the model without this "paddle" and it can be a bit iffy turning the saw off. This solution is designed so that it doesn't require any modifications to the saw. And it's very easy to install.

Materials and methods

1. Start your 3D print of "Paddle_final.stl"

2. Print out "Template_bracket" and glue or transfer "TEMPLATE 1:1" to a small piece of aluminum sheet, I used 1 mm. Cut, drill and bend.

3. Assemble the bracket and paddle using 2 M3 screws, you can cut threads or just let the screws do it.

4. Unplug the saw for this step! Remove the two upper screws holding the switch to the casing. Slide the bracket part behind the switch and refit the screws.

And you'll need 2 M3 screws.
