Description
This slides on to the fitting where a battery would normally be clipped in to keep out grub and dust while the tool is in storage.
My tools have at least 3 different variations to the mounting for the same 18V batteries.
This cover fits all of those.
Easily pushes on and holds by friction.
I've included holes to add string for hanging loops for storing when not in use.
Materials and methods
Just print standing on it's end.
It can be printed without support, just a brim to help it stand.
Adding supports from the bed make the rear corners slightly tidier but are not essential.
My printer settings:
PLA 210C/60C
0.4mm nozzle
0.15mm layer thickness
60mm/s
Brim
Supports from the bed (optional)
