Description
I have tried dozens of quick release mechanism before I settled down with Arca Swiss compatible plates. This miniature plate lets you to attach an Arca Swiss compatible sole to everything which has a 1/4-20" UNC thread on the bottom.
It started as an Arca Swiss sole for my georgeous phone mount Glif 2 from http://studioneat.com but later on I installed these little helpers on my LED lights as well.
The plate has a central hole with an 1/4-20" UNC thread which is 4.5 mm long to hold these screws in place: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1-4-Screw-for-Digital-Camera-Tripod-Monopod-and-Quick-Release-Plate-Camera-Photo-Parts-Accessories/32389123723.html . I also uploaded the Fusion 360 model in case if you need to modify on the dimensions.
Materials and methods
To mount this plate you will need an 1/4-20" UNC camera screw.
