Description
A friend of mine criticised my previous revolver-like battery holder design (https://www.youmagine.com/designs/sealable-aa-battery-box) so I decided I will do a more minimalistic version for him.
I also recorded the design process:
Since the first design I tuned some of the parameters so now the device holds the batteries securely and safely.
The print with 0.2 mm layer height and 20% infill requires only ~7.5 g filament (which is ~920 mm from the 2.85 diameter version) it is ideal for leftover filament usage.
Update: based on defuzz's request I made a second, subtitled screencast for easier understanding:

@monkmartinez I had to recover it from an old backup (I have changed Fusion 360 account since then) but finally I found and uploaded it. The sketches are quite unconstrained and I don't have time to fix them now - sorry about that.
can you share the fusion file?
defuzz: I did not add audio track to the screencast because I'm not fluent in English and I'm afraid a Hungarian audio commentary will not help too much :) Although I have some good news for you: here is the same design process subtitled in English: https://vimeo.com/159033408
The process slightly differs from the previous one but I hope you will like it.
Thanks for the video. It's very helpful for learning 360. Audio of what you're thinking while working would make it even better. :)
