I Needed a slightly larger and taller pad to keep prop stand away from exhaust pipe
Description
On these old motorcycles the prop stand frame fastener eventually develops some tendency to droop which makes the stock size rubber bumper sag below the point on the motorcycle frame where it should strike and rest. This design when printed in TPU makes a replacement that is a bit larger in diameter and a bit taller to accommodate the ware issue and keeps the side stand toe extension out away from the exhaust pipe. I must say that the fit of this part is on the mount post is quite tight.
I have used my print of this part for more than a year and have found no ill effects caused by the close porximity of the exhaust pipe and the TPU bumper.
The OpenSCAD source is provided with comments and parameters that allow the builder to modify the diameter and height as desired.
