Mounting plate for electronics cooling-fan on Ultimaker Original (UMO)
I made quite some changes to the electronics on my Ultimaker. Ultimately installing an open-frame powersupply meant that the original fan-arrangement had to go.

Description
This plate facilitates mounting a 50mm fan over the stepper drivers. I have been using this setup with SSS (Silent StepSticks)for a long time and the performance is solid!
Other modifications on my Ultimaker-Mainboard was replacing the 7812 Voltage regulator with a switching regulator, so it doesn't need that kind of cooling as before. As long as you run your machine on 19V (stock) i see no problem in using this plate with the original setup. If in doubt, hold your finger on the voltage regulator - it it's not too hot to touch everything is fine.
Materials and methods
50mm fan.
Hot glue.
