I thought to myself "what would I do with a nice phone and a nice UM2?"  Show the world cool videos of the UM2 in action!

This phone cradle clips to the top of a UM2 and locates the phone camera for best view of the plate below.  I took a model of the OnePlus One and estimated the 80° (it's pretty wide!) field of view, then positioned the phone where it would have the best view and also clear the print head carriage.

The design goal here was simplicity.  The angle is fixed because I didn't want to complicate the part.  The camera's FOV is so wide it can capture most of the plate and the clip can be moved around on the front OR sides of the UM2 frame to center the shot wherever you want it.  The CG of the clip & phone should be centered over the frame, so the part is balanced and the clip doesn't have to work too hard.

I'm imagining using this with Android apps to either transmit the live feed (try a baby monitor app) or to create time lapses (Hyperlapse would be great for this).

Printing - designed for a 0.4mm printhead, I would print with the walls 1.2mm thick and low or no infill.
