<p>I wanted to see if I could figure out a mathematical function that would yield a tree shape. The scad that I got is by eye; no doubt someone smarter could figure out some coefficients and turn this into a single iterative function.</p><p>Prints best in some kind of PET using spiral vase.<br></p><p>I added a cylinder so there would be something to hang the tree with; it only works at a limited range of sizes. If you are a G-code editing whiz you could probably add something like</p><p>G92 Z0 E0</p><p>G91 Z25 E20</p><p>to the right place at the end of your print to move the hotend straight up while extruding a little string of filament.</p>
