Description

I got one of these lamps for my workbench, just because it amused me with a little bit of anachronism on the 3D printing workbench. It's a table lamp based off of an old kerosene lamp.

However, when I'm using it for lighting my workspace, too much of it is going directly at my eyes. I decided to design a lampshade, loosely based off of a pagoda roof. It's in 4 identical parts, due to the small size of my printer (a Monoprice Select Mini Pro). I'm still testing it, so you might want to hold off on making it, but I couldn't wait to share.

I'm printing mine in green, partly because I have a bunch of green filament i'm not really using, and partly because I was reminded of the Jade Pagoda from Dr. Who.

Update: I've pulled down the MK III, it had a flaw in one of the sweeping portions. I've uploaded the corrected MK IV. Print 4 copies of the MK IV file if you want it to be the same all the way around. Mine is going next to a wall, so I'm printing 2 copies of the MK IV file, and one each of the MK IV rear files.
