Description
I designed this petri dish holder for my ferrofluid-water colour and oil-water macro photography. The petri dish can be easily inserted and attached to standard photo studio equipment with the integrated 3/8" thread. I also created a video describing the design process.

Materials and methods
Printed with blue nGen from colorfabb on a Ultimaker 3 with support material (Ultimaker breakaway).
In Addition a 3/8" thread cutter will can be handy to clean up the threads after removing the support material.
