Description
So here's the deal,
I'm trying to develop a building block that can be crafted, and look nice, but also being able to play with (build structures).
The more effort you put in them, the more value they have (embedded gems / paint job / gold plating/ metal / ...... ). These should become the trade of all build fanatics!!!!
To solve this , I've made blocks that can be nice and smooth, but also haf pushable/retractable studs. So far it works, but I'm missing some "snappyness to it. I woul like to have a snap-in lock position when activated, and a nice snap-in-place when building with other blocks. so you vcan build teally smooth structures (even horizontally).
SO PLEASE COLLABORATE AND HELP ME SOLVE THIS LAST ISSUE!!
PS; Building plate is also in development, I'll finsh it once this problem is tackled.
PPS.: sources (pro/e wf3) will folow, as will the specs be open sourced for evryone to built their own components!
Materials and methods
print it solid;
LEAVE THE BRIM ON THE PIN, it 'll prevent it from falling trough te sideplate.
Deburr the sideplate
glue (abs-acetone glue works great!) parts together, don't forget the center block to connect each side mechanically.
