Protectors for bench vise

To protect sensitive pieces from traces left from your bench vise there are protective cheeks. My bench vise came with a pair of those cheeks which lasted not very long. In fact they broke easily because someone (me?) applied too much force and smashed them to pieces.

Description

Print two of the protectors. I succeeded with 100% infill to make them really strong.

Find 20 inch of adhesive magnetic strip (7mm high) cut it in four pieces and glue it into the rails I left for them.

I added the FreeCad file in case you want change any dimensions according to the size of you bench vise.

Materials and methods

You need two of the bench vise protectors I designed with FreeCad and approximately 50 cm (= 20 inch) of magnetic tape 7mm high which is used to attach paper to magnetic boards.
