Description
Printing a 50% infill TPU tire and a 50% infill abs wheel for my 2+2 wheel hand truck.
Neighbor put a hand truck out for trash pickup with a broken caster wheel so to keep it out of the landfill I took it home and replaced the lay down caster wheel using my 3D printer.
Materials and methods
Drilled out the riveted axle and tapped to 4mm thread to accept small bolt to fasten the axle to the caster.
Printed a TPU high density tire and matching pair of ABS high density wheel haves.
