RepRap Leeuwenhoek v1

A compact, portable all-in-one 3D printer. It's named after the father of microbiology, Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, a fascinating 17-18th century biologist and tradesman from Delft!

Description

This started as a small personal project in august 2014, when I couldn't find a printer that'd fit all my needs.

After a lot of interest from fellow students and educators, and being displayed at some expos I decided to finish the design and make it open-source for everyone.

The RepRap Leeuwenhoek is named after Antonie van Leeuenhoek, because of its origin (I designed and built it in the Netherlands, mostly in Delft). van Leeuwenhoek himself was a tradesman who crafted very fine lenses, which he also used on microscopes for his discoveries. This is why he is known as the father of microbiology.

I hope you enjoy this project.
