Description
This is a model of the plastic piece that holds the 8mm nut in my Rola roof rack cross bar (Model 59834, APE series, not sure if the crossbars for other Rola racks use the same piece.)
The cheap stainless bolts that came with the Rola roof rack had all kinds of burrs and it bound up on the nut during installation. This made removal very difficult and I ended up rounding out the hexagonal nut trap in the factory piece.
Printed in ABS at 50% infill, .2mm layer height. Not sure if it's as strong as the original (glass filled nylon), but seeing as how the originals rounded out pretty easily, I think the ABS print will work fine.Do not overtighten.
