Materials and methods

the flexible ring is out of flexible filament. Every other part can be print out of PLA.

For the flexible Filament I used Innoflex45 from Innofil3d

to print:
1xouter ring
1xmain plate
2xouter ring stop
2xflexbile ring

Part list:

5 M3x5 thread inserts
3 M3x30
2 M3x6

For the installation disconnect the electric plug. Mount the main plate in the position of the original Extruder Use the orignal screw and a nut on the other side.

Mount the outer PLA ring to the main plate. But one of the outer ring stops over the shaft. Place the two flexible ring parts around the extruder gear box and insert the pack in the outer ring. Place the outer ring stop on the other side an screw all together.

I used Innofil45. There are no videos before and after so far.

What flexible filament did you use? And do you ave any before/after videos on Youtube or anywhere? Right now the resonance of the extruder (and also the z-motor) is driving me nuts, so I really hope this works just a liiiittle better than the flexible padding I'm currently using.
