Description

The Snapmaker rotary axis can work with a bit larger items if there is more height above the mounting plate. The OpenSCAD file provides a way to make adapter plates to mount under the rotary head and tail piece. These along with longer screws will allow turning of a larger diameter piece.
I wanted to mount a coffee cup to laser etch a logo and this allowed the handle to swing through during rotation for the print

Materials and methods

I printed in two halves using ABS and glued together to make the complete part.

By adjust the "h" value from 2 to X you can make as much height as desired as long as you have long enough screws.
