Description
Printer requirements
This project requires a 3D printer with a work envelope of 200x200x200mm and 0.4mm (or smaller) nozzle. Printer should have a bed with good adhesion (heated PEI bed is recommended). Printer should be as dimensionally accurate as possible (for less clean-up work). Printer should be able to print overhangs with the selected material so some calibration in this regard should also be considered.
Printing instructions
Print all parts as they are, required support structures are built into the models, but the printer should be able to print some overhangs with the material used.
Print cleanup
Top of the case requires the removal of the support structures at each key: these can be simply removed by grabbing them using a pair of pliers and twisting them around their longer side to break them off. After the removal the rough key cavity walls should be filed flat. Also the lip for the key latch should be filed flat. If you plan to install the LEDs drill the holes all the way through using 3mm drill. Also drill out the mounting holes to ensure they are big enough.
Bottom of the case requires removal of the support material at the cable opening at the back of the case and all mounting holes should be drilled using 2.5mm drill and tapped using M3 tap.
