Hey everybody,
this is my first published design. I'm acutally upgrading my ultimaker 2 a bit and there might come a few other improvements.
I hope you enjoy the design and sorry for the color :-D
For me it works just fine, but it surely depends on the shrinkage of your printer if the bearings fit well or the printed nut screws perfectliy onto the axis...
I added some original files that you can manipulate your bearing seat and btw. you should print at least the axis quite massive ;-)
Materials and methods
Two standard longboard bearings:
outer diameter 22 mmm,
inner 8 mm,
depth 7 mm.
A rubber hair tie of you girlfriend,
a short piece of electric tape and three M3x12 allen screws
