<p>I wanted to mount the camera in the corner of the printer, but after some trail and error I had to conclude there was no room. I still included the design files, for if someone finds a way. <br></p><p>Finally hooking the mount around the front panel, around the top seemed best. </p><p>I improved upon the following existing ball joint design: <a title="Link: https://www.youmagine.com/designs/parametric-ball-joint" href="https://www.youmagine.com/designs/parametric-ball-joint" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.youmagine.com/designs/parametric-ball-joint</a><br></p>I found that the camera needed to be enclosed, for proper image quality. Without a case it seemed like you saw the inside of the lens mount. So made a camera case holder that encloses the camera module (UM_camera_case). <br><br>The design is created parametrically using OpenSCAD. <br><br>Update: I added some space around the joint to keep it flexible. <br>Update2: I tweaked the retraction settings to make the support break off more easily.
