Description

3.5 mm shorter fanduct to be able to install the nozzles from 3dSolex and E3D without hitting the bed. I printed it with XT. the STL is in a strange orientation so you need to rotate it in cura 120 degrees and I recommend to rotate it so the overhang of the mounting bracket is cooled well, when printing with XT.

Materials and methods

Just a drop in replacement of the UMOs fan shroud. You maybe need to trim the 3mm threaded rod a bit (I can't tell as I did that a while ago).

I modified the design to use 40mm fans, and I added a right side fanduct for a dual fan setup.

Hi, could you share the 3d model too ? (.stp ?)

I want to modify and add slots where the m3 nuts sit so they dont come loose...

@charger 01, you should turn your heater block by 90 degrees so the duct does not hit it.
