Description
To make the main body of the hook:
*Start with a piece of aluminium sheet goods. Mine was reclaimed piece about 2 mm in thickness.
* Cut out a strip 40x120 mm.
* Round over the two ends to your liking.
* File and sand smooth.
* Bend around a pipe or dowel about 40 mm diameter.
Print the backing piece. Transfer hole positions and drill the holes. Mount the hook to the wall. Print covers for screw heads. They were a snug fit but I added a drop of superglue.
