Description
Short bobbins for making bobbin lace using fine wire. Use 10 mm silicone or rubber O-rings to hold wire on the bobbin. These bobbins can also be used for traditional bobbin lace. (They are a short version of 'Spanish' style bobbins).
These bobbins were used publically at Seattle Mini maker faire, Sept. 2016. Lace: the Fiber Frontier hosted by Lacemakers of Puget Sound www.lacemakers.org
Materials and methods
Designed to be printed head down on any fused deposition (filament) printer, no support needed. You can get silicone O-rings from some craft stores and from chainmail supply websites ('oh -rings')
