- 10 bands made so far, of the North American design. 3 shields cut after a couple hundred test holes. About to put it in full production on 6 machines.
- A standard US hole puncher makes holes that are too small, so a version with smaller pegs would help. I used a 5W laser engraver to make the shields. I found that using a line of electrical tape on the acetate allows the laser's energy to focus on the work area for a clean cut. Cut at 50% power (2.5W), 200mm/min, 1 pass. It also serves to reinforce the holes.
