GDT-11 Replacement Case/Housing

Dropped this multimeter on the ground one day, and the case shattered. It's not made of glass fiber-nylon as most tools are, but rather something like ABS instead.

I took the broken parts and reverse-engineered the ratcheting mechanism for the dial. One 3D Print later and I had a working multimeter again.

Be careful not to lose the spring and ball bearing from the existing housing, as this is what allows the rolling action across the detents.

This is for the GDT-11 Multimeter - I took the sticker off of the old case and rubber cemented it on the front face.

Please leave a comment if this model helps you at all. I'd like to know if my work helps anyone.
