16x zoom with an iPhone Xs Max?

This is a binocular adapter designed to fit an iPhone XS Max to a Celestron 71404-DS 8X42 TrailSeeker binocular using a Tech 21 iPhone case.

As the standard iOS camera app using either the standard 1x lens or the 2x lens for tele photos I do recommend using FiLMiC's amazing and free FirstLight app which lets you to specify which lens you want to use exclusively to take the shots: https://www.filmicpro.com/filmic-firstlight/

Please note: this design will only work with the components (phone, case, binocular) listed above. If you are changing any of the componens you might need to alter the design to fit the binocular lens diameter, lens center point and lens distance.
