I built this wood frame Prusa i3 clone from scratch using the RepRap wiki heavily as my primary resource. It's not the prettiest printer out there, and it doesn't spit off the highest quality prints, but it's really cool to watch something you built from scratch making parts! COTS Parts: - E3D v6 lite hotend - Ultimachine RAMPs board w/ Arduino Mega - Raspberry Pi w/ Octoprint - Power supply / motors / endstop switches / etc... Aftermarket (for lack of a better term) upgrades: - X and Y axis belt tensioners - Bowden extruder - part cooling fan ducting - filament spool holder The structural printed parts are pretty much all from the i3 GitHub repo at the time of building.
