Description
Printable mold for flexible joint of customizable size. Inspired by and compatible with Gyrobot’s Flexy Hand.
This is an experimental part and not all materials will work reliably for all applications (incl. prosthetics). Some information on the use of different castable materials (primarily silicones) can be found at https://github.com/daprice/Flexy-Joint/wiki/Materials (anyone else testing materials, your contributions are welcome!)
When casting joints using this mold, seal the open holes with tape. Be careful because some tape adhesives can inhibit the curing of certain silicones (e.g. Kapton tape adhesive may slightly slow curing of PDMS).
