Useful if your stock housing is damaged, or if you're just plain tired of having the thing come apart because they decided to run the seam straight through where the keyring loop is.

You'll need two small laptop-type screws to affix the backplate to the front remote housing.  The holes in the model are 1.6mm in diameter and can accommodate screws of up to 1cm in length.
