Description
Allows tablet to be held securely in either landscape or portrait mode, rotating on a threaded rod.
Important - Please note that this design does not lock, so it's possible to rotate the tablet off the mount!
Print the wall and arm mounts with no support at around 25% infill or greater.
You may want to slow down printing on these to get a better thread on the connecting rod. I used 30mm/s with no issues, using ABS at 240c.
The arms should be no more than 15% infill to allow a little flex for installing and removing the tablet. I also suggest using support with these so that the retaining clips don't sag. I found pillars worked well for this.
The wall mount just needs 4 suitable screws to hold it on the wall.
The arm mount simply screws onto the wall mounts threaded centre. It will screw down around three full turns onto the wall mount, so once you find the limit, back it off one turn. This will allow you to choose landscape or portrait mode as required - take care when turning anti-clockwise that you don't completely unscrew the arm mount and tablet from the wall mount!
Materials and methods
- PLA, ABS or Nylon
- 4 suitable screws to mount the base to the wall
